Black Friday Haul

Hello and welcome (back) to my blog.

Three weeks ago it was Black Friday. This week my last order came in and with this blog post you would like to share my purchases with you.

Drie weken geleden was het Black Friday. Deze week kwam mijn laatste bestelling binnen en met deze blog post wil je graag mijn aankopen met jullie delen. 

I prefer skirts and dresses. As I said before on my blog, I'm a girly girl. When I saw this dress, I immediately fell in love. The pink color is beautiful, just like the details on the sleeves and in the skirt. I bought all three colors because my motto is: If you like something, buy it in more than one color.

Ik heb de voorkeur voor rokjes en jurkjes. Zoals ik reeds eerder op mijn blog zei, ik ben een meisje meisje. Toen ik dit jurkje zag, was ik direct verliefd. De roze kleur is prachtig, net zoals de details op de mouwen en in de rok. Ik heb alle drie de kleuren gekocht, want mijn motto is: Als je iets leuk vindt, moet je het kopen in meer dan een kleur.

In winter I prefer to wear black and I find this black sweater very beautiful and elegant with the small details. It also matches beautifully with my Chanel, I love it.

In de winter draag ik het liefste zwart en ik vind deze zwarte trui erg mooi en elegant met de kleine details. Tevens match hij prachtig met mijn Chanel, I love it.

I also ordered two pairs of ankle boots. I had chosen to have the ankle boots delivered to the store, which is why I don't have my own photos. The left ankle boots were sock ankle boots, I didn't know this until I tried them on. I'm personally not a fan of sock ankle boots. The right ankle boots were no longer available after ordering.

Tevens had ik twee paar enkellaarsjes besteld. Ik had ervoor gekozen om de enkellaarsjes te laten bezorgen in winkel, vandaar dat ik geen eigen foto's heb. De linker enkellaarsjes waren sok enkellaarsjes, dit wist ik niet tot ik ze ging passen. Ik ben persoonlijk geen fan van sok enkellaarsjes. De rechter enkellaarsjes bleken na bestellen niet meer beschikbaar.

While I was shopping at Mango.com, almost everything I wanted was either sold out or no longer available in my size. Of the three items that I could order, three turned out to be unavailable. I'm a bit disappointed, because I ordered this beautiful dupe for the Celine Box bag, I hope it will be back in stock.

Ps. Mango makes beautiful dupes for designer bags.

Terwijl ik aan het shoppen was op Mango.com, was bijna alles wat ik graag wou hebben uitverkocht of niet meer in mijn maat beschikbaar. Van de drie items die ik wél kon bestellen, bleken drie toch niet leverbaar. Ik baal wel een beetje, want ik had deze prachtige dupe besteld voor de Celine Box tas, ik hoop dat hij terug op voorraad komt. 

Ps. Mango maakt prachtige dupes voor designer tassen.

My New Handbag: The Classic Chanel

In today's blog post I wanted to share my new handbag with you. W A R N I N G this is going to be a very long blog post about the bag of my dreams, the day I bought it and my experience. I hope you enjoy it. 

Friday evening, the 1st of December I received an email from Chanel Düsseldorf, saying that a Classic Flap is available in store. I immediately felt butterflies and tickle in my tummy and I knew this was meant to be. To be honest, I was a little bit scared that when this moment would come, I would doubt. But not a single bone in my body was doubting when I replied that I would pick up the bag the next day. 

That night I couldn't sleep. I was so excited and also a little bit scared that the bag maybe was reserved for somebody else, because I replied after opening hours. 

The next morning I received a phone call around ten o'clock from Germany and I knew it was the sales associate from Chanel. He was wondering wether I was still interested. Right after the phone call, I called my dad and he would come with me. My dad is very special to me, we are two peas in a pod. My first designer handbag purchase I bought with my dad and buying my Chanel with him would make it even more special to me.

When we arrived at Chanel Düsseldorf, the SA was busy with another customer and they asked us to wait and offered something to drink. No we didn't take the champagne, it was still morning haha. After ten minutes the SA brought me the bag and the moment the bag was in my hands I was even more in love. It was like a dream come true, maybe some off you do not understand, but that's fine.

The SA that helped me was really kind to me. I never felt so comfortable at any Chanel store before. He's wasn't kind to me just because I bought a bag and I knew this because he helped me before when I didn't purchase anything. 

Enough blathering, here is my new handbag.

Even the paper has Chanel on it. 

How gorgeous is the blue ribbon and camillia. I think this is a special Christmas edition, because I have never seen it before. Normally the ribbon is white with black letters and the camillia is white, just like the one on the paper bag. 

The dust bag is super soft.

She even got her own bed.

I'm speechless, she is the most beautiful bag I've ever seen in my life, she is just perfect.

Christmas Wishlist

Hello and welcome back to this "C H R I S T M A S blog serie".

This is the third and unfortunately the last blog post from this "Christmas blog series." I'm completely in the Christmas spirit and thinking about doing Vlogmas (Vlogmas is vlogging the days before Christmas. Buying Christmas presents, setting up the Christmas tree, etc.) but I don't know if I feel comfortable doing that. feel...

Today's blog post is about my Christmas wish list, in case Santa is reading blogs and is doing financially good this year haha. I would also like to emphasize that getting gifts is not the most important thing for me at Christmas, but being together with the people I love.

Hallo en welkom terug bij deze "K E R S T M I S blog serie". 

Dit is de derde en helaas de laatste blog post uit deze "Kerstmis blog serie." Ik ben helemaal in de kerstsfeer en ben ik aan het denken om Vlogmas te doen (Vlogmas is het vloggen van de dagen voor kerst. Het kopen van kerstcadeautjes, het opzetten van de kerstboom, etc.) maar ik weet niet of ik me daarbij comfortabel voel... 

De blog post van vandaag gaat over mijn kerst verlanglijstje, in het geval dat de kerstman blogs leest en het financieel goed heeft dit jaar haha. Ik wil daarbij wel nog wel even benadrukken dat het krijgen van cadeaus voor mij niet het belangrijkste is met kerst, maar het samenzijn met de mensen waarvan ik hou.

For as long as I can remember I would love to have the Chanel Classic Flap. This bag is beautiful, classic, elegant, chic, timeless and everything I need in my life, haha. 

Ps. Since August I've been been on the waiting list for the Chanel Classic Flap. If you follow me on Instagram, you saw that I received an email from Chanel Düsseldorf that a Classic Flap is available. I was very enthusiastic, but did I actually buy the bag?

Zolang als ik me kan herinneren, zou ik graag de Chanel Classic Flap willen hebben. Deze tas is prachtig, klassiek, elegant, chique, tijdloos en alles wat ik nodig heb ik mijn leven, haha. 

Ps. Sinds augustus sta ik op de wachtlijst voor de Chanel Classic Flap. Als je me volgt op Instagram, zag je dat ik een mailtje van Chanel Düsseldorf ontving, dat er een Classic Flap beschikbaar is. Ik was razend enthousiast, maar heb ik de tas daadwerkelijk gekocht? 

I love handbags and I love pink. I'm really a girl girl. This bag is perfect for spring and summer, it's also different from what I already have in my collection. Unfortunately this color is no longer available.

Ik hou van handtassen en van roze. Ik ben echt een meisje meisje. Deze tas is perfect voor de lente en zomer, tevens is de tas anders van wat ik reeds in mijn collectie heb. Helaas is deze kleur niet meer verkrijgbaar.

This picture may be familiar to you, it was on the blog post Christmas gifts for her blog post. I love everything in this photo, the Tom Ford book, the Diptque candles, the vase  and also the the flowers. A colleague of mine even thought it was my photo, because the sofa in the photo looks exactly like mine.

Deze foto komt je wellicht bekend voor, hij zat in de blog post van Christmas gifts for her. Ik hou van alles op deze foto, het Tom Ford boek, de Diptque kaarsen, de vaas en tevens de bloemen. Een collega van mij dacht zelfs dat het mijn foto was, omdat de bank op de foto precies zoals die van mij eruit ziet.

When I saw my sister-in-law the other day, she wore this beautiful ring and I fell in love immediately. The ring is simple but elegant and stylish.

Toen ik laatst mijn schoonzusje zag, droeg zij deze prachtige ring en ik was direct verliefd. De ring is simpel maar elegant en stijlvol.

When I was searching for the above ring on the Michael Kors website, I also found these beautiful bracelets. I love arm candy and I think this one is very cute.

Toen ik op de website van Michael Kors aan het zoeken was naar de bovenstaande ring, vond ik tevens deze mooie armbandjes. Ik ben dol op arm-candy en deze vind ik erg schattig.

Gister ging mijn blog over Kerstcadeaus voor haar. Als je deze blog post hebt gemist, kun je hem hier lezen. Vandaag gaat over kerstcadeautjes voor hem. Ik heb de prijs categorie "in between" weggelaten, gezien ik het erg moeilijk vond om producten te vinden. 


Christmas gifts for him 

Every woman loves a man who smells good, that's why I think perfume for men (think of your boyfriend, partner, father, father-in-law, brother, etc.) is also a very good gift. Zara also has delicious budget proof perfumes for men. If you have a little more to spend, Blue De Chanel smells delicious and Valentino Uomo is also really a wonderful fragrance.

Elk vrouw houdt van een man die lekker ruikt, dat is de reden waarom ik denk dat ook parfum voor mannen (denk aan je vriendje, partner, vader, schoonvader, broer, ect.) een zeer goed cadeau is. Ook voor mannen heeft Zara heerlijke budget proof parfums maar ook de Kruidvat. Kruidvat heeft een eigen parfumlijn genaamd: The Master Perfumer. 100ml voor slechts €7,99! Het is wel een Eau de Toilette, maar perfect als je minder te besteden hebt. Mocht je iets meer te besteden hebben, Blue De Chanel ruikt heerlijk en Valentino Uomo is ook echt een heerlijk luchtje.

Last year I bought my friend the boxers from H&M x David Beckham and he really liked them. I live with my boyfriend, with whom I have been together for almost nine years. I can imagine if you are just in a relationship that you are not comfortable giving boxers. Socks are also s a good gift for men and I personally think these socks from Calvin Klein are very beautiful.

Vorige jaar heb ik mijn vriend de bovenstaande boxers van H&M x David Beckham gekocht en hij vond ze erg mooi. Ik woon samen met mijn vriend, met wie ik bijna negen jaar samen ben. Ik kan me voorstellen als je net een relatie hebt, dat je, je niet comfortabel voelt bij het geven van boxers. Sokken zijn altijd ook een goed cadeau voor mannen en deze sokken van Calvin Klein vind ik persoonlijk erg mooi.

Just likes socks, wallets are always a good gift for men. My boyfriend has the Antony Morato wallet (the left one in the image) and I know he really likes the Louis Vuitton Damier Graphite print. Like a lot of men, I suspect.

Net als sokken, is een portemonnee ook altijd een goed cadeau voor mannen. Mijn vriendje heeft de portemonee van Antony Morato (links op de afbeelding) en ik weet dat hij de Louis Vuitton Damier Graphite print erg mooi vindt. Zoals veel mannen, vermoed ik.

Other gifts that you can make men really happy with is:
- Watch
- Belt
- Electric razor
- Keychain (you can make this really personal, with a photo or a name or just the brand of his car)

If you like to give something that you can enjoy together, the following ideas might be something for you and your lover (or maybe for your parents): 
- Book a massage or a private sauna with a Jaccuzi with an overnight stay  
- A spa day or visit to a thermal pool is also a good idea
- Mini vacation or weekend (Christmas 2015 I gave my boyfriend a trip to Rome)
- Have dinner at his favorite restaurant
- Tickets for Disneyland (or an other theme park), tickets for the Formule One or from his favorite artist (singer/comedian) or soccer club.

Andere cadeautjes waar je mannen blij mee kunt maken:
- Horloge
- Riem
- Scheerapparaat
- Sleutelhanger (je kunt dit echt persoonlijk maken, met een foto of naam of van het merk van zijn auto) 

Mocht je graag iets geven waar je samen van kunt genieten, zijn de onderstaande ideeën wellicht iets voor jou en lover (of misschien je ouders): 
- Boek een massage of een privé sauna met Jacuzzi met een eventueel overnachting 
- Een spa dagje (Thermaalbad Arcen, Zwaluwhoeve of Thermea2000 zijn ook een goed idee)
- Een mini vakantie of weekendje weg (Kerst 2015 gaf ik mijn vriendje een reis naar Rome)
- Diner in zijn favoriete restaurant 

- Kaartjes voor Disneyland (of een ander amusement park), kaartjes voor de Formule 1 of van zijn favoriete artiest (denk aan zanger/zangeres, cabaretier) of voetbalclub.

Christmas gifts for her

Over exactly one month it's C H R I S T M A S, I love Christmas, being together with family and loved ones, having all the time in world with each other, dine together, watch a movie or old pictures. There is just something magical about Christmas.

I really enjoy giving my family and loved ones gifts that they are really happy with, even if it's just something small and that's how I came up with the idea to write a "Christmas blog series". I hope you like it and can perhaps get some inspiration from it. 

Nog precies een maand en dan is het K E R S T M I S. Ik hou van kerst, samen zijn met familie en geliefden, alle tijd van de wereld hebben met elkaar, samen eten, een film kijken of foto's van vroeger. Er is een magisch aan kerst. 

Ik vind het super leuk om mijn familie en geliefden cadeautjes te geven waar ze blij mee zijn, al is het iets kleins en zo kwam ik op het idee om een "Kerstmis blog serie" te schrijven. Ik hoop dat je het leuk vindt en er wellicht inspiratie uit kunt halen.

Which woman doesn't like candles? Candles are not only beautiful as decoration, they also add cosiness to your home on these dark, cold days, but can also give your house a wonderful scent. You have candles in all shapes, sizes and prices and you can make them as expensive as you want. H&M, Zara and Primark have some really beautiful budget proof candles.I love the candles from Rituals, they smell wonderfull. And then you gave Jo Malone and Diptyque candles, these candles are beautiful, I would love to have some but they have a higher price tag. 

Welk vrouw houdt niet van kaarsen? Kaarsen zijn niet alleen mooi als decoratie, ze brengen ook gezelligheid in huis met deze donkere, koude dagen maar kunnen je huis ook een heerlijk geur geven. Tevens heb je kaarsen in alle vormen, maten en prijzen en kun je het zo duur maken als je zelf wilt. H&M, Zara en Primark hebben een aantal hele mooie budget proof kaarsen. Ik hou van de kaarsen van Rituals, ze ruiken héérlijk. En dan heb je de kaarsen van Jo Malone en Diptyque nog, deze kaarsen zijn prachtig, ik zou er graag een paar willen hebben, maar ze hebben een hoger prijskaartje.

"Perfume is something invisible and yet an unforgettable accessory."

Personally, I don't think there are many women who don't like perfume. Unless of course you are allergic to it. Zara has wonderful budget proof perfumes. Jill Sanders Sun and Eve are among my favorite "in bewteen" perfumes and the two perfumes are also favorites of a number of friends including my sisters favorite. If you have a little more to spend, you can go for Chloe or Chanel.

Persoonlijk denk ik niet dat er veel vrouwen zijn die niet van parfum houden. Tenzij je er natuurlijk allergisch voor bent. Zara heeft heerlijke budget proof parfums. Kruidvat heeft een eigen parfumlijn genaamd: The Master Perfumer. Mijn favoriet en die van een aantal vriendinnetjes is N°26 White Lilly, 50ml voor slechts €7,99! Het is wel een Eau de Toilette, maar perfect als je minder te besteden hebt. Jill Sanders Sun en Eve behoren tot mijn favoriete "in bewteen" parfums en dete twee parfums zijn tevens favorieten van een aantal vriendinnetjes incl. mijn zusjes favoriet zijn. Heb je iets meer te besteden kun je eventueel voor Chloe of Chanel gaan.

Being warm and comfy is a necessity of life in the winter. Comfy slippers and a blanket are always a great gift, especially in the winter. Add a mug and a hot water bottle and you have the perfect winter gift set.

Warm en comfortabel zijn is een levensbehoefte in de winter. Comfortabele pantoffels en een dekentje zijn altijd een leuk cadeau, zeker in de winter. Voeg een leuke mok en kruik toe en je hebt het perfecte wintergeschenkset.

A photo frame with a beautiful/special photo from of you two, or of her with her partner, child, pet, etc. Or a beautiful quote. I really like these "X O" print.

Een fotolijstje met een mooie/speciale foto van jullie twee, of van haar met haar partner, kindje, huisdier, etc. Of een mooie citaat. Ik vind deze "X O" erg leuk.

Everyone with a bath may recognize it, after a busy or stressed day, take a nice warm bath with maybe your favorite series. That's why I think bath bombs are a great gift. If she doesn't have a bath, this is no problem! There are plenty of delicious shower gels and foam from Rituals, for example. Add a (sheet) mask and a body butter and you have the perfect relax gift package.

Iedereen met een bad herkend het wellicht wel, na een drukke of gestreste dag een heerlijk warm bad nemen met eventueel je favoriete serie. Daarom denk ik dat bruisballen een geweldig cadeau zijn. Als ze geen bad heeft is dit geen probleem! Er zijn genoeg heerlijke douchegel en -schuim van bijvoorbeeld Rituals. Voeg er een (sheet)maskertje en een body butter aan toe en je hebt het perfecte relax geschenkpakketje.

Shopping at Designer Outlet Roermond

Last Monday was my last day off. I went shopping with a friend at the Designer Outlet in Roermond. We do this sometimes on Mondays, since she don't have to work on Mondays and lives in Roermond. We are both fans of the Body Shop and Starbucks (Caramel Fruppuccino without coffee is my absolute favorite).

Vorige week maandag was mijn laatste dagje vrij: Ik ging shoppen met een vriendinnetje in het Designer Outlet te Roermond. We doen dit soms op maandagen, aangezien zij niet hoeft te werken en in Roermond woont. We zijn beide fan van de Body Shop en Starbucks (Caramel Fruppuccino zonder koffie is mijn absolute favoriet). 

Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation in the color Yorkshire Rose (032)

Since my favorite Bourjois foundation is no longer in production, I'm looking for a replacement. My friend has been using the Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation for a while and is very satisfied, reason for me to try it too. First impression is immediately good, a light to medium coverage foundation that is easy to blend.

Sinds mijn lievelingsfoundation van Bourjois niet meer geproduceerd wordt, ben ik opzoek naar een vervanger. Mijn vriendinnetje gebruikt al een tijdje de Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation en is erg tevreden, reden voor mij om hem ook te proberen. Eerste indruk is direct goed, een licht tot medium dekkende foundation die gemakkelijk te blenden is.

NYX HD Studio Photogenic Foundation in the color HDF Soft Beige (102)

We have also been to the NYX Cosmetics store. NYX is quite a new brand for me, I see it regularly on YouTube and bought some products to try. 

The first impression of the NYX HD Studio Photogenic Foundation is immediately good, a medium coverage foundation, the structure is slightly thicker compared to the Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation, but despite that easy to blend and the color is perfect for me.

We zijn tevens naar de NYX Cosmetics winkel geweest. NYX is vrij nieuw merk voor mij, ik zie het regelmatig op YouTube voorbij komen en besloot een aantal producten te kopen om te proberen. 

De eerste indruk van de NYX HD Studio Photogenic Foundation is direct goed, een medium dekkende foundation, de structuur is iets dikker vergeleken met de Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation, maar ondanks dat gemakkelijk te blenden en de kleur is perfect voor mij.

NYX Gotcha Covered Consealer in the color Soft Ivory (GCC01.5)

This consealer is high coverage, had a thick substance, but despite the thickness easy to apply and blend. It doesn't dry out the skin under my eyes and looks very nice. I think this is my new favorite consealer. 

Deze consealer is zeer dekkend, heeft een dikke substantie, maar ondanks de dikke substantie is die gemakkelijk aan te brengen en te blenden. het droogt de huid onder mijn ogen niet uit en ziet er erg mooi uit. Ik denk dat dit mijn nieuwe favoriete consealer is.

NYX Baked Blush in the color Foreplay (BBL05)

If I could only wear 1 make up product for the rest of my life, it would probably be blush, I love blush so much, it immediately changes your face and immediately gives you a healthy, glowing look. This color is a perfect mix between pink and peach and has the right amount of highlight. 

Als ik voor de rest van mijn leven nog maar 1 make up product zou mogen dragen, zou het waarschijnlijk blush zijn, ik hou zoo ontzettend van blush, het veranderd meteen je gezicht en geeft je meteen een gezonde, stralende look. Deze kleur is een perfecte mix tussen roze en perzik en heeft tevens de juiste hoeveelheid highlight.
