Over exactly one month it's C H R I S T M A S. 
As I wrote two years ago in the Christmas blog serie, I love Christmas, there is just something magical about Christmas. Being together with family and loved ones, having all the time in world with each other, dine together, watch a movie or old pictures, sharing memories and laughing together.

This blog post is meant to be an inspiration for Christmas presents for her, think of your wife, girlfriend, mother (in-law), sister, niece, best friend, etc.

Vandaag nog precies een maand en dan is het K E R S T M I S. 

Zoals ik twee jaar geleden schreef in de kerstmis blog post serie, ben ik dol op kerst er is iets magisch aan kerst. Samen zijn met familie en geliefden, alle tijd van de wereld hebben met elkaar, samen eten, een film kijken of foto's van vroeger, herinneringen delen en samen lachen. 

Deze blog post is bedoeld om inspiratie op te doen voor kerstcadeautjes voor haar, denk aan je vrouw, vriendinnetje, (schoon)moeder, zusje, nichtje, beste vriendin, etc. 


Christmas gifts for her

Jewelry, a beautiful ring or bracelet, a necklace or earrings.

- In between brands/stores: Minitials, Ti Sento-Milano, Bronzallure & Pandora
- Luxury brands/stores: Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co, or at you local jeweler

Louis Vuitton has two jewelry lines, the "fashion" line, with the populair V bracelet, these jewelry are gold plated, the other line is with gold, white gold, rose gold, diamonds and pearls. The same goes for Hermes and Tiffany & Co.

Is she engaged in skin care? For the men: Does she put all kinds of creams on her face? Buy her a Quartz roller or derma roller, add some (sheet) masks and you have the perfect beauty gift set.

Houdt ze zich bezig met huidverzorging? Voor de mannen: Smeert ze allerlei crèmetjes op haar gezicht? Koop haar een Quartz roller of dermaroller, voeg daaraan een aantal (sheet)maskertjes en je hebt het perfecte schoonheids geschenkenset. 

What are her hobbies? Baking? Buy her baking stuff. Cooking? Buy her a cookbook or, for example, new oven gloves. Does she like to read? Buy her a book or gift card from her favorite bookstore. Or a gift card from her favorite clothing brand or store. Add to that her favorite chocolate, candies or chips with, for example, a nice quote and turn it into a present!

Wat zijn haar hobbies? Bakken? Koop haar bak spullen. Koken? Koop haar een kookboek of bijvoorbeeld nieuwe ovenhandschoenen. Houd ze ervan om te lezen? Koop haar een boek of een cadeau kaart van haar favoriete boekenwinkel. Of een cadeau kaart van haar favoriete kledingmerk of winkel. Voeg daaraan haar favoriete chocolade, snoepjes of chips met bijvoorbeeld een leuke quote en maak er een cadeautje van!

JDY (Jacqueline de Yong) Sweaters 

A basic sweater is always good to have in your closet, especially when you have an office job (like me) and like I said earlier on my blog: If you like something, you should get it in more than one color. 

Een basic trui is altijd goed om in je kledingkast te hebben, vooral als je een kantoorbaan hebt (zoals ik) en zoals ik eerder zei op mijn blog: Als je iets leuk vindt, moet je het kopen in meer dan een kleur.

Vero Moda Ruffle Sweaters

Sadly I only like the black one, normally I love the color beige (in case you didn’t notice haha), but this one I do not like in real life. The pink one I ordered to match my pink skirt I bought last spring, but I don’t like the combination of the two. I’m sooo picky about clothing, the way fabric feels and the way colors look. 

Helaas vind ik alleen de zwarte leuk, normaal gesproken hou ik van de kleur beige (mocht je dat nog niet zijn opgevallen haha), maar deze beige kleur vind ik helaas niet mooi in real life. De roze had ik besteld om te matchen met mijn roze rokje die ik afgelopen lente heb gekocht, maar helaas vind ik de combinatie van de twee niet mooi. Ik ben zooo kieskeurig over kleding, hoe stoffen voelen en kleuren eruit zien.

Pieces Bag

The shape of this bag reminds me of the Dior Saddle bag, which I would love to have in my collection, but I can’t buy it because I had this bag years ago. I didn’t liked it anymore, I sold it for about €200,- and now I can’t buy the same bag for €2000,- besides that I also think it’s an it-bag and in one/two years you won’t see it anymore. That’s why I decided to buy a Dior Saddle inspired bag. PS. I'm wearing the Vero Moda Ruffle Sweater here.

De vorm van deze tas doet me denken aan de Dior Saddle tas, welke ik super graag in mijn collectie zou willen, echter kan ik deze tas uit principe niet kopen. Ik had deze tas jááááren geleden, maar ik vond hem niet meer leuk en heb hem toen voor ongeveer €200,- verkocht. Om nu dezelfde tas te kopen voor €2000,- kan ik gewoon niet en tevens denk ik, dat het weer een “it-bag” is en dat je hem over een/twee jaar nergens meer ziet. Daarom heb ik besloten een Dior Saddle geïnspireerde tas te kopen. PS. Ik draag hier de Vero Moda Ruffle trui.

VILA Turkeneck Sneaker and ONLY Legging 

For a while I’ve been on the search for a black knitted turleneck sweater that is a bit longer, I don't know if I'm going to keep this one, because I want a more fitted one.

Sinds een tijdje ben ik op zoek naar een zwarte gebreide coltrui dat iets langer is. Ik weet nog niet of ik deze ga houden, gezien ik liever een getailleerde model heb.

H&M home haul

Hello and welcome (back) to my blog.

I’m very excited to do a home blog post, I hope you are as well. At the moment I’m busy adding and changing things in my house and I was on the search for a new duvet cover to match my new bed. 

Hallo en welkom (terug) op mijn blog. 

Ik ben erg enthousiast om een home blog post te doen, ik hoop dat jullie dat ook zijn. Op dit moment ben ik bezig met wat dingetjes toe te voegen en veranderen in mijn huis, tevens was ik opzoek naar een nieuw dekbedovertrek om te matchen bij mijn nieuwe bed.

Dit heb ik besteld bij de H&M: 

I’m in love with this duvet cover and the whole way I styled it with the bedspread and tray. The duvetcover matches perfect with the color of my bed and I think this  looks really chic. 

Ik ben verliefd op dit dekbedovertrek en de manier hoe ik het gestyled heb met de sprei en het dienblad. Het dekbedovertrek match perfect met de kleur van mijn bed bed en ik vind het erg chique uitzien.

I'm a little bit sad, because this is not how I pictured it in my head, the ways it looks and feels, it's really stiff, I thought it would be soft... 

Ik vind het erg jammer, maar deze sprei is helaas niet zoals ik het had voorgesteld, tevens voelt hij erg stijf aan, ik dacht juist dat hij heel zacht zou zijn....

I like this one a lot, but I’m liking the first bedspread more so I will send this one back.

I loved the way it looked on the website, but in real life it reminds me of hospital duvet covers. 

Deze vond ik prachtig op de website, maar in "real life" doet het me denken aan een ziekenhuis dekbedovertrek.
